Studio Art B.A. Major Requirements
The B.A in Studio Art consists of 12 Studio Art courses, 3 Art History courses, the junior review and the Senior Project.

Of the 6 studio courses, 3 must be chosen from the five following areas:
Painting elective

Three Elective Courses
The remaining 3 Studio Art courses will demonstrate a concentration in one area.
Three Art History Courses
One course on modern Art History (from the list below) and any two additional Art History courses.

Studio Art Digital Image Requirements
All art majors are required to submit digital images as a part of their Studio Art requirement. This is done throughout the junior and senior years so that both the students and the Studio Art faculty can have a comprehensive chronology of their aesthetic productions while at Manhattanville College. The students’ digital images will also act as the inaugural elements in building a professional portfolio for a post-college art career. In the spring of the senior year, majors are required to submit 20 quality images.
