DTH 3314 Performance Seminar: Collaborative Process
For performing artists and theatre makers of all kinds. This course will explore the nature and experience of creative collaboration between artists- dancers, actors, writers, visual artists and musicians. We will explore various languages of physical performance, non-dramatic texts (visual and plastic art, photographs, poetry, etc.) and the tradition of site specific performance. The course will integrate traditonal academic research with hands-on experiential work in the studio. Prerequisite: Creative Process and one other technique course (Acting, Modern Dance, Voice & Speech, etc.) or Permission of Instructor.
