POS 4050 ACADEMIC CONFERENCES: MODEL UN
Students who sign up for this course (with the permission of the instructor) are assigned to a member state which they will represent at the New York Model UN (NMUN). They study the country and, with the help of the study guide put out by the NMUN, work up position papers on the global issues that will come up for deliberation at their committee, which will be shared among all the delegates at the model UN. In April students go to New York and participate in the four day annual Model UN session. (Spring)
