DES.4497 Internship
Students will participate in a supervised on-campus or off-campus internship which is guided by a design thinking mentor at Manhattanville College. The goal of this experience is to integrate and apply design thinking knowledge, practice, and theory in a professional "real-world" setting. An internship gives students the opportunity to: . Gain valuable work experience before graduating; . Develop new skills and refine others; . Apply knowledge gained from coursework to on-the-job situations; . Reality-test tentative career choices; . Meet and work with professionals, establishing contacts for letters of reference and networking; . Experience new work environments
