IDS.1090 Keys to Success: College in the 21st Century
This course introduces students to some of the "hidden" aspects of the undergraduate studies that will increase opportunities for student success post-graduation. Students will be introduced to the liberal arts themselves, their various modes of looking at and understanding the world, and their historical importance in a university education. Students will explore new directions in 21st century education, considering emerging disciplines, areas that cross traditional disciplinary boundaries, and the need to integrate diverse voices and perspectives to solve complex problems.
