MAC.2060 Introduction to Data Science
Introduction to Data Science focuses on the initial stages of data science: the programming required in creating and cleaning the datasets involved in an exploration, the operations on the dataset needed to filter, group, and summarize aspects of it, and the techniques used in understanding the characteristics of a dataset, including descriptive statistics, visualization, and clustering. For tools, we will use Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and R Studio.
