MKT.2022 Sports Marketing

This course is an introduction to the business ofýsports from a strategic marketing perspective,ýexploring fundamental theories and concepts ofýboth the marketing of sports and the marketingýthrough sports. The fundamental purpose of thisýcourses is to provide students with a theoreticalýand practical framework of sports marketing as aýcomponent of an integrated marketing strategy. Theýmain focus is on the application of marketingýprinciples, strategies and tactics to sportsýproducts (e.g. teams, league, sports events,ýathletes) and to the marketing of non-sportsýrelated products/services through association withýsports (e.g. sporting events, leagues, athletes)ýto achieve organizational goals and objectives.
