Compliance Requirements

 

a            Upon acceptance into the School of Nursing and Health Sciences Students must complete the following on American Data Bank’s Complio portal.

  • Background check
  • Toxicology screen

 

Student accounts must display clear results prior to course registration. In the event a student does not present clear background check and toxicology results, acceptance into the School of Nursing and Health Sciences will be forfeited.

 

 

Compliance items include but are not limited to:

  Medical Clearance Documents:

  • Annual Physical Examination 
  • Annual QuantiFERON or Tuberculin Skin Test (if positive, a student will be required to provide a negative chest x-ray report which expires every 5 years)
  • Tdap Vaccination record (required every 10 years)
  • Hepatitis B Vaccination
  • Influenza Vaccination Record
  • COVID Vaccination Record

Blood must be drawn for the following titers within the last six months and reference ranges must be uploaded to Complio:

  • Varicella 
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella 
  • Hepatitis B Surface Antibody 
  • Hepatitis B Surface Antigen 

Certifications/Insurance:

  • American Heart Association certified - BLS Certification
  • Malpractice Insurance 
  • Medical Release Form

It is the student’s responsibility to remain complaint at all times. Students who fall out of compliance will be dropped from their courses. The clinical site in which students are assigned may require additional medical data than listed above.
