Student Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate knowledge about basic medical sciences, specifically cellular biology, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, immunology, bioethics, biotechnology and global health issues.
Recognize the relationship between structure and function at all levels: molecular; cellular, and organismal.
Understand quantitative reasoning as it applies to learning skills in the biological sciences, implementing the scientific method in laboratory, class and research projects, including use of equipment, instruments, and following safety guidelines, and incorporating into oral presentations.
