This Advanced Certificate program is for already certified teachers seeking to obtain an additional teacher certification in Computer Science Education PK-12. This program leads to New York State teacher certification in Computer Science Education PK-12.

Admissions Prerequisites:

  • Masters Degree
  • 12 credits of coursework in Computer Science
  • Prior Teacher Certification

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the Applied Behavior Analysis program, students will be able to:

  1. Apply the principles and concepts of behavior analysis to assess behavior and design evidence-based interventions that promote meaningful and socially significant outcomes.
  1. Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to make data-based decisions, monitor progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions across educational, clinical, and community settings.
  1. Demonstrate ethical, culturally responsive, and professional practices consistent with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Ethics Code and applicable legal standards.
  1. Collaborate effectively with individuals, families, educators, interdisciplinary teams, and community stakeholders to support the acquisition, maintenance, and generalization of socially significant skills and behaviors.
