BIO.1002L Principles of Biology II Laboratory
This course is designed to provide the student with a practical introduction to scientific research within the field of biology. The spring semester will focus on establishing fundamental laboratory techniques to survey and distinguish the major Kingdoms. While the laboratories will complement material being covered in the lecture section of the course, it is designed to teach additional material and techniques not possible in a classroom setting. The laboratories and written assignments will leave the student with both qualitative and quantitative skills at the laboratory bench, and the ability to communicate in a scientific manner.
