LIS.1010 Applications of Generative Artificial Intelligence

This course will introduce students to a wide range of Generative AI and LLM powered applications, including Copilot, ChatGPT, and more. We will discuss ways generative AI affects the wider world, including environmentally, ethically, educationally, and socially. Students will gain practical experience using the tools, explore use cases, and discuss both risks and benefits.
