ART.4100 Anatomy and Life Drawing
This course will focus on anatomical drawing and drawing from direct and indirect observation. We will use live models and human skeletons to better understand the human body's physical and mechanical functions. We will explore the human skeleton and muscles through contour drawings, gesture drawings, and timed studied drawings. We will focus on the human body in physical environments. We will use drawing exercises that will employ life drawings, botanicals drawings, stile life drawings, landscape drawings, portraits, and self-portraits to enhance our drawing skills.
