BIO.1013 Astrobiology
This course is designed to provide the student with an introduction to the interdisciplinary field of Astrobiology. The class will focus on establishing fundamental astrobiology concepts in which the scientific method will be used to seek answers to all time intriguing questions on the origin and evolution of life on planet earth and the possibilities of life in the universe. Students willevaluate and discuss the necessary conditions for life and the search for extraterrestrial life outside the solar system. The course is designed to stimulate critical thinking and discerning skills on true facts concerning Astrobiology.
