WREL.3011 End of the World

Visions of the apocalypse, the kingdom of God, paradise, the age of Kall, and the coming of Maltreya. The first part of the course concludes with a debate on whether the United States will side with Antichrist; the second part asks students to build their own visions of the goal of history out of materials we survey, including the religious aspects of modern environmental and economic thought.
