This Masters program prepares teachers to work effective with students with disabilities in Grades PK-12. This program leads to New York State teacher certification in Special Education PK-12.

 

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Evidence of Prior Teacher Certification
  • EDU 5393 Foundations of Special Education or equivalent
  • EDU 5344 or other child development course
  • 6 credits of undergraduate Science coursework
  • 6 credits of undergraduate Social Studies coursework
  • 6 credits of undergraduate Mathematics coursework
  • 6 credits of undergraduate English Language Arts coursework
