MAC.5900 Graduate Practicum in Computer Science
This course will provide a student with the experience of working on a large project emphasizing the synthesis of material covered in previous computer science courses. It may be oriented toward the development of a significant software application, in which case the student is expected to work with a client with real needs, or it may be a more exploratory effort in an area such as artificial intelligence, robotics, or machine learning. Although each project will be supervised, the student is to manage his or her project in an independent atmosphere and ensure that the above project segments are completed in the time imposed.
