EDU.5655 Experimental Analysis of Behavior
This course is designed to present students with the basic theories, principles, and applications within the experimental analysis of behavior (EAB). Course content will examine historical underpinnings of modern theories on learning, basic principles of operant and respondent conditioning, and translate findings of basic research to the development of applied behavior change. Throughout the semester, students will be introduced to the roles that consequences and the scheduling of consequences play on acquisition, maintenance and structure in the behavior of human and nonhuman organisms.
