Student Learning Outcomes

When they have completed this program, students will be able to:

• Explain core positive psychology concepts and how they support educator and student well‑being.
• Evaluate evidence‑based SEL programs and recommend priorities for future implementation in a variety of school and classroom settings.
• Identify and describe key research-based SEL pedagogies, including culturally responsive and trauma‑informed approaches.
• Design lesson plans and teacher research cycles that integrate SEL with academic learning to strengthen social‑emotional well‑being for students, families, teachers and communities.
