MGT.2812R Healthcare Justice, Law, and Ethics
This course provides students with the tools, concepts, and frameworks to understand and make decisions regarding difficult legal and ethical questions in the healthcare field. The course provides students with an understanding of the various 'alphabet soup' of U.S. healthcare regulations including HIPAA and the ACA. The course has students analyze patient care ethics in situations such as patient autonomy, informed consent, and end of life.
