MUH.1007 Listening to Music

This course explores the fundamentals of music as an approach to appreciation through the study of repertoire. Emphasis will be placed on listening to selected works in order to understand and to identify the styles and forms of Western music from the Baroque period to the 20th Century. Concert attendance is required. Not open to students who have completed higher level Music History course work.
