Counseling and Wellness Services

Counseling and Wellness Services is staffed by licensed mental health professionals and graduate level interns, a part-time dietician, and a part-time psychiatrist.  We offer individual, group, couples, and family therapy, as well as consultation, assessment, psychiatric evaluation, crisis intervention, referrals, and educational outreach programs.  Wellness services include health and wellness workshops, programs, and activities, as well as a wellness lounge designed to help students reduce stress and promote optimal health. Students are able to schedule an appointment to speak with a counselor, sign up for a program/group/workshop, or utilize any of the wellness activities. Students are encouraged to walk-in to ask questions or express concerns; our staff are knowledgeable and caring.

Counseling and Wellness is located in Spellman Hall, on the ground floor, G-11.  In case of an emergency after hours, please call Campus Safety at (914) 323-SAFE (7233) or contact your Resident Advisor or Resident Director.
