Immunology is the study of the immune system of the body. It is important to understand the different organs and molecules that involve in the immune system and its function to fight off disease and protect our body. The nature and mechanisms of acquired resistance including humoral and cellular immunity. The characteristics of antigens and antibodies and their interaction will be studied. The immune system in health and disease will be discussed.
