DTH.3320 Senior Thesis Seminar I

The Senior Thesis Seminar is a required course in the major's senior year. Its purpose is to provide students with theoretical structure and practical, process-oriented tools for the successful completion of their senior thesis project. Throughout Senior Thesis Seminar I students will develop audition strategies through professional audition experiences to prepare for representation by an industry talent agency. Students will develop portfolio materials to begin to develop themselves as a marketable brand. Students will produce websites including dance or theatre reels, resumé development, get headshots, and be able to present themselves in a digital portfolio ready for the professional world of a performer. All aspects of Senior Seminar I act as a precursor to the Senior Thesis Seminar II course, which develops the research, performance, and production of an original work.
