Healthcare Administration
Introduction and Overview
The Healthcare Administration major is built on Manhattanville's Business Core to provide students with a solid foundation in business disciplines. These courses are taught in-person by Manhattanville faculty. Through Manhattanville's partnership with Rize, the major then focuses on the skills needed to successfully manage healthcare organizations. Students' Rize classes begin with an overview of the U.S. healthcare system. Students then investigate healthcare finance, healthcare operations, and data-driven methods applied to healthcare operations. The program concludes with a capstone course in healthcare innovation. The program also includes a course in career navigation so that students better understand the opportunities they have as healthcare administrators.
Rize courses are online, asynchronous and taught over a 14-week period.
