EDAD.5040 School District Leadership
This course will focus on the evolving and diversified role of the school district central office to promote student achievement and continuous organizational improvement. Applying theoretical frameworks to practical realities, the focus will be on identifying those processes and practices through which the school district leaders can successfully work with boards of education and engage district stakeholders in actualizing a shared vision and promoting higher levels of student learning in its many dimensions. Topics will include strategic planning, problem-solving, organizational culture, organizational communication, and public relations.
