Transfer Students

Students from other institutions may be admitted either in the fall or spring semester provided they meet Manhattanville's admission requirements.

  • Transcripts- Unofficial transcripts may be provided or uploaded to receive an initial admissions decision. Official transcripts will be required to enroll. Official transcripts can be sent by mail or secure electronic delivery directly from your previous institution.
    • Applicants with fewer than 12 college credits- You must submit both your high school (or equivalent) and college / universities transcripts from each institution attended
    • Applicants with 12 or more college credits- You must submit college / universities transcripts from each institution attended
  • $75 Non-Refundable Application Fee
  • Optional supplemental materials including SAT or ACT scores, letters of recommendation, personal essay, resume, and personal interview. (in some cases these materials may be required)
    • if submitting test scores, our codes are: SAT - 2397; ACT - 2800
  • Transfer students may transfer up to 90 credit hours. However, one half of the courses for a major or minor must be completed at Manhattanville. 
  • Transfer students may enter either in the fall or spring semester and are required to submit official transcripts of all undergraduate coursework.  
  • Students interested in Art, Commercial Dance, Imagining Leadership,  Musical Theatre, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Theatre , Music Technology, Musical Theatre or Art should refer to procedures for acceptance in the appropriate department sections .
