EDPD.5033 AI in Today's Classroom: Promise and Peril
This course is designed to prepare educators for the many challenges the evolving technology landscape presents. While the pace of innovation creates opportunity, it also creates uncertainty and shifting dynamics in the classroom. Artificial Intelligence has revolutionized the way students encounter information. Educators must respond to the changes and balance how and when to use it to both prepare students for the world they are entering and to teach them responsible and ethical use. This class will offer educators the opportunity to reflect, to explore, and to create assignments that will incorporate AI in meaningful and appropriate ways.
