1. Develop an interdisciplinary understanding of the origins and operation of international human rights law and the institutions and organizations through which it operates.
2. Develop an interdisciplinary and global understanding of the concepts of human rights and justice
3. Develop an understanding of the many global problems, both past and present, that both the discourse and the legal framework of human rights has sought and seeks to address.
4. Develop a solid ethical foundation and the cultural awareness necessary to work in fields related and adjacent to global justice and human rights.
5. Develop skills in data and information literacy, oral and written communication, and professionalism, through both coursework and experiential learning opportunities, necessary for a successful career.
