Student Learning Outcomes
Students majoring in Political Science are expected to
- Demonstrate an understanding of key political science approaches, theories, and political issues across multiple subfields.
- Interpret and analyze theories, ideas, and political issues via integrating them with data analysis and storytelling.
- Understand key ethical issues in political science as represented in the origin of the field, methodology, field research, and policies and other real-world applications.
- Apply their knowledge of the discipline to a topic-based capstone as they examine a particular issue through the theoretical and methodological knowledge they acquire in their coursework.
