Upon the completion of the program, a Castle Scholar will be able to:

1. Investigate a topic from multi-disciplinary perspectives.
2. Integrate co-curricular experiences into scholarly knowledge.   
3. Think critically at the highest levels expected of an undergraduate student.
4. Write clearly and cogently at the highest levels expected of an undergraduate student..
5. Conceive and execute an independent research project, and communicate its results
6. Successfully develop and implement a collaborative project which utilizes scholarly approaches to community engagement and service.
