This course explores the principles of risk management in the context of projects, focusing on three main issues. Risk Assessment: Students learn to identify potential project risks and practice using tools like risk registers to document and categorize risks based on their likelihood and impact. Risk Response Strategies: Students examine several risk response strategies, including avoidance, mitigation, transfer, and acceptance, and learn how to select the most appropriate strategy for each identified risk. Risk Management Plans: Students create detailed risk management plans that incorporate monitoring processes and outline communication strategies for keeping stakeholders informed about risk status.
