EDU 5098 Literacy Practicum
This course is the second part of a two-part practica sequence. Candidates work with children who have a variety of literacy needs in a supervised, clinical setting. Emphasis is placed on:a sound understanding of the reading and writing processes; the effect of teacher theoretical orientation to literacy assessment, instruction, choice of materials and students' view of reading and writing.
