EDU 5647 Verbal Behavior

This course will focus on the understanding and practical application of verbal behavior operants. Students will gain a more in-depth understanding of terms suchas mand, echoic, tact and intraverbal, and be required to read research and develop a practical intervention plan focused on these operants. The course will also introduce students to more advanced topics such as the use of autoclitics, and the use of verbal behavior methodology for literacy and augmentative and alternative communication.
