This Advanced Certificate program is for already certified teachers with a Masters degree and prepares them to teach Literacy to students in grades PreK-12. This program leads to New York State teacher certification in Literacy Grades PreK-12.
Admissions Prerequisites:
- Masters Degree in a functionally related area
- Evidence of Prior Certification in Early Childhood, Childhood, Elementary, Middle Childhood, TESOL, or Special Education
- Prior coursework in Children's or Adolescent Literature
