EDU.5575 Computational Thinking Across the Curriculum
At the heart of computational thinking are problem-solving and critical thinking, key areas which can benefit all students. In this professional development course, participants will develop a deep understanding of the core concepts of computational thinking: abstraction, decomposition, pattern recognition. Participants will also learn a wide set of strategies for engaging K-12 learners in this core concepts across the range of curricular areas: ELA, math, science, history/social studies, as well as art and music. Access to sample curriculum will also be provided as part of this course.
