Accelerated Pathway Program in Biomedical Sciences

The accelerated pathway program in Biomedical Sciences is open to qualified students in the following undergraduate programs:

  • BS, Biology
  • BS, Biochemistry
  • BS, Environmental Science
  • BS, Neuroscience

Students who declare this accelerated pathway program will, upon completion of their bachelor's degree, be eligible to continue in the Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical Sciences. During their final semester of undergraduate study, students must formally apply for matriculation into the MS in Biomedical Sciences. 

The MS in Biomedical Sciences is a 30-credit program. Students in this accelerated pathway will be allowed to complete up to 12 graduate-level credits which may be applied toward the requirements of the master's degree. Therefore, once fully matriculated into the MS in Biomedical Sciences, students will be required to complete a minimum of 18 additional credits in order to fulfill master's degree requirements.
